The European Union (EU) strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias on the commercial ship (MINERVAGRACHT), which flies the Dutch flag in the Gulf of Aden.
Oil prices rose today, Thursday, ending a three-day losing streak, recovering from their lowest levels in 16 weeks, but expectations of increased supply from "OPEC+" next month limited the gains.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Wednesday, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed al-Jaber, the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Construction Yemen (SPDCY).
They discussed the developments in the Yemeni national arena and the Yemeni government's efforts and economic and financial reforms.
Dr. Zindani expressed deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its significant support for Yemen, greatly appreciating the Saudi development and humanitarian interventions in Yemen in different areas.
He also highly praised the Saudi leading role in supporting the efforts to establish peace and security in Yemen as well as the Kingdom's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government.
The Saudi Ambassador confirmed the Kingdom's continuous support for Yemen and its political leadership in different fields, noting that the SPDCY will continue to carry out its development and services projects.
He also stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is interested in achieving the peace that satisfies the Yemeni people's aspirations.
