Yemen's Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Buhaybeh, has emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork in preparation for the upcoming Strategic Health Summit, set to take place on October 22.
The summit aims to bring together key stakeholders, including donors and international partners, to discuss ways to enhance health financing, improve healthcare services, and strengthen partnerships. According to Dr. Buhaybeh, the summit builds on the momentum generated by the Health System Conference, which laid out a roadmap for Yemen's health sector.
Dr. Buhaybeh stressed the need for thorough preparation, including the development of working papers and identification of priority areas, to ensure the summit's success. He also highlighted the importance of active participation from various health sectors and partners.
