The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani celebrated the robust Yemeni-Japanese relations, highly praising Japan's supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized government and leadership, greatly valued the Japanese support to the development drive in Yemen.
"We're deeply grateful to the Japanese government for its supportive for Yemeni government and people, deeply appreciating the development programs JICA, which have proved very helpful", he said.
He made his comment during his talks today, Wednesday, with the Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen NAKASHIMA Yochi.
The conversations covered a range of topics aimed to further promote Yemeni-Japanese cultural relations.
The Japanese Ambassador confirmed the deep historical relations and the close friendship that bind the Yemeni and Japanese peoples.
Mr. NAKASHIMA reiterate his government's supportive stance for Yemen and its political leadership, praising the proposals aimed at enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries.
