Yemen Condemns Israeli Prime Minister’s “Greater Israel” Remarks as Violation of International Law
[14/08/2025 01:05]
ADEN-SABA
Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned recent remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in which he referred to the so-called "Greater Israel Vision," calling the statements a blatant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.

In an official statement, the Ministry described the remarks as reflective of an "expansionist and racist mindset" that exposes the true intentions of the Israeli occupation and undermines all prospects for a just and comprehensive peace in the region.

The Ministry warned that continued adoption of such provocative rhetoric and policies threatens to fuel further tension and instability across the Middle East.

Reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, the Ministry stressed the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The statement also urged the international community — particularly the United Nations Security Council — to fulfill its responsibilities by taking immediate and binding measures to halt such violations and hold Israeli leaders accountable for actions that endanger regional and global peace and security.
