Yemen participated in the UN Food Systems Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, led by Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Saqqaf.
The conference discussed food systems in the Arab region, climate resilience, post-conflict recovery, and financing for sustainable development.
Al-Saqqaf highlighted Yemen's food system challenges, including food insecurity, climate change, conflict, and economic fragility. He emphasized priorities for attracting financing and investments, supporting vulnerable groups, and promoting sustainable development projects.
