Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhayb, met with the Deputy Country Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Yemen, Simon Holima, and the Programme's Director in Aden, Layla Ahadi, to discuss the operational plan for distributing food assistance in the coming period
The meeting focused on the challenges facing the programme due to a severe funding shortfall and explored ways to enhance coordination between the Ministry and WFP to ensure aid reaches those in need efficiently and transparently.
