The member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami stressed that educational process should be resumed and teachers' living conditions must be improved.
"Education is the cornerstone for nations-building and it is a fundamental right for the pupils to be educated, the strike will have disastrous impact on the generations' education", he stressed.
He voiced his comment during his discussions today, Wednesday, with the Minister of Education Tariq al-Akbari.
The PLC's member highly appreciated the teachers' efforts and patience to do their noble job despite the economic hardships.
