The Arab Parliament has renewed its support for the Presidential Leadership Council led by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, commending its efforts in managing the transitional phase, unifying the national front, and achieving security and stability in Yemen.

It also reaffirmed its steadfast support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, completely rejecting all attempts to undermine its stability or tear apart its national fabric.

During its fifth session held today at the headquarters of the Arab League, with the participation of Arab Parliament members Alawi al-Basha bin Zuba, Ansaf Mayo, and Abdulwahab Maawda, the Arab Parliament emphasized the necessity of reaching a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis based on the three references: the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, and UN Security Council Resolution 2216, which preserves Yemen's sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, and independence.
