Ministry of Public Health and Population, led by Minister Dr. Qasim Buhaybeh, held a meeting to discuss a draft strategy for social and behavioral change to increase demand for vaccination services in Yemen.
The meeting, attended by ministry officials, international organization representatives, and health experts, focused on developing tools for behavioral change, prioritizing efforts, and tailoring awareness messages to suit local cultural and social contexts.
Minister Buhaybeh emphasized the importance of the strategy in enhancing vaccination uptake, particularly in areas with low coverage rates, and stressed the need for a unified approach to achieve tangible results.
