Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tariq Saleh, chaired today a joint meeting of the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning and the local authority in Hodeidah Governorate to discuss the executive plan for the preparation of the master plan for the city of Al-Khawkhah.
The meeting, which included a team from the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning and the Director of the Land Office in Hodeidah Governorate, Ayman Jarmash, in the presence of the First Deputy Governor of Hodeidah Governorate, Walid Al-Qudaymi, also discussed the urban planning study (master plan) for the city of Al-Khawkhah, and everything related to preserving state lands and implementing plans that accommodate population growth and preserve investment elements.
Tariq Saleh stressed the need for the plan to include the identification of agricultural areas, construction sites, residential and investment areas, in addition to designing modern neighborhood units and opening new streets to facilitate movement and promote development.
The
Leadership Council member directed the Authority's team to complete the plan within six months, stressing the importance of adhering to the timetable to achieve development goals.
He also directed the governorate leadership and the local authority in the directorate to provide all necessary facilities to the team to ensure the efficient and speedy implementation of tasks.
