Yemeni Ambassador to Austria, Haytham Shoja'aadin, met with the Speaker of the Austrian Parliament, Walter Rosenkranz , to discuss Yemen-Austria relations and ways to develop and strengthen them.

The Ambassador conveyed greetings from Yemeni Parliament Speaker Sultan Al-Burkan to his Austrian counterpart and briefed him on recent developments in Yemen.

The discussion focused on security challenges caused by Houthi militia attacks on global trade and challenges facing the Yemeni government due to continued targeting of oil export platforms in Hadhramaut and Shabwa.
