President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, arrived in Baghdad on Saturday to participate in the Arab Summit and the Arab Development Summit.
Al-Alimi was accompanied by Council members Othman Mujalli and Faraj al-Bahsani.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Yemeni Ambassador to Iraq Al-Khudr Marmash, and several embassy officials.
The summit is expected to address key regional issues, including national and regional developments, and ways to enhance Arab collective action in the face of common challenges.
President al-Alimi is scheduled to deliver Yemen's keynote address and hold meetings with other leaders and heads of delegations.
