His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Thursday, the Chargé d' Affaires of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Yemen Evgeny Kodorov.
Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations and cooperation were key focus of the conversations.
The discussions also touched on the agenda of the President al-Alimi's visit to the Russian Federation at the end of this month.
President al-Alimi touted Yemeni-Russian relations as strong and constructive, underscoring the importance of further increasing joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries to serve the mutual interests.
The Chairman of the PLC highly applauded the Russian steadfast stance in support of the Yemeni people and its official leadership at different international stages.
