Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen, Dr. Shaya Zindani, participated in the Arab League Council meeting at the ministerial level, held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, as part of preparations for the 34th ordinary session of the Arab League Summit.
The meeting, attended by foreign ministers of Arab League member states and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, discussed several reports submitted to the summit, including the Secretary-General's report on the activities of the Secretariat between sessions.
Other key topics on the agenda included draft resolutions related to political developments, the unified Arab stance on the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict, ways to activate the Arab Peace Initiative, and Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in al-Quds.
