The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms condemns the Houthis' bombing of citizen's home in Taiz
[11/05/2025 06:35]

TAIZ - SABA
The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms has strongly condemned the brutal attack and terrorist crime committed by the Houthi militia, which involved the bombing of a home in the Shaqb area of Saber al-Mawadim district in Taiz governorate on Saturday.

The statement from the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms clarified that the terrorist militia carried out the bombing of the home of citizen Majid Ali Mohammed Abdullah Ghaleb on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Shaqb area southeast of Taiz city.

It emphasized that the bombing of homes and the displacement of Yemeni families clearly demonstrate the brutality of the Houthi militia, which does not hesitate to destroy everything in its path to achieve its sectarian ambitions.

The network confirmed the involvement of the Houthi militia in the bombing and destruction of 1,287 homes across several governorates, documented by the network's field team since their coup in 2014 until April of this year.

The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms pointed out that the militia's motives for bombing the homes of opponents stem from its deep-rooted behavior, considering bombing as a means of revenge against adversaries and instilling fear in others, as well as demographic alteration through population displacement.

It called on the United Nations Security Council, UN-affiliated organizations, and all international human rights organizations to condemn such crimes and terrorist practices and to hold the Houthi militias and their leadership accountable.
