Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhybeh held a meeting with the Regional Director of Save the Children Ammar Manea to address ways to enhance partnership and expand the organization’s interventions in several governorates.
Minister Buhybeh emphasized the importance of updating guidelines and training programs, as well as conducting studies in areas such as chronic diseases, environmental sanitation, and information systems. He also stressed the need to build capacities at both central and peripheral levels to strengthen the health system.
For his part, the regional director of the organization commended the Ministry's efforts to strengthen the health system, highlighting the ministry's role in facilitating the organization's tasks and overcoming the challenges it faces.
