President al-Alimi convenes a meeting of Foreign Ministry leadership, heads of diplomatic missions

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) convened today, Tuesday, a meeting of the Foreign Ministry leadership and heads of the Yemeni diplomatic missions, with the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani.

The President updated the headship of the Foreign Ministry and the heads of the diplomatic missions on the developments in the national arena, the intertwined challenges, the available chances to improve the living conditons and to move forward the efforts to restore the state's institutions and eliminate the coup d'état of the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias.

His Excellency said " We're talking to you today at a decisive moment of our national battle history, we count very much on the Yemeni diplomatic to secure an integrated international support for the battle of the redemption that our people have long been waiting for".

He strongly emphasized on the importance of the role of the Yemeni Ambassadors and heads of the diplomatic mission abroad in dealing with the stage's developments and effectively responding to the current changes at all levels.

The President added" We need today to double down the efforts inside and outside the country in order to confirm the preparedness of the Yemeni state and its efficiency to assimilate the humanitarian aids and commercial ships and put an end of the terrorist threat.

He underscored the importance of discrediting the terrorist Houthi militias and disseminating their gross violations of human rights, explaining the context of the militias history which confirms that these militias aren't a peace proposal, but rather a permanent threat, not temporary threat to the regional and international security.

The Chairman of the PLC stressed that it is very important to coordinate and work with the regional and international organizations including the Gulf Cooperation Council, the League of Arab States and United Nations to put an end of the Yemeni people suffering and achieve its aspirations for stability, peace and development.
