Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, has said that the Houthi militia deliberately exploit and disregard the lives of tribesmen fighting on their behalf.
In a press statement, Al-Eryani said that the Houthis conceal their true losses, avoiding announcements of deaths among their fighters to maintain morale. This approach, he said, demonstrates the militias' blatant disregard for the lives of their fighters.
The minister pointed to the Houthis' selective burial and media coverage practices, where ideologically motivated fighters are given proper burials and media attention, while tribesmen who have joined the militias are ignored, their identities erased after death.
