HODEIDA-SABA
The first deputy governor of Hodeidah Walid Al-Qudaimi discussed Tuesday with the security and safety officer of the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) Munther Abbas the mechanism for implementing the mine clearance project and raising awareness about war remnants, which were planted by the terrorist Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime.

Al-Qudaimi listened to Abbas' explanation about the project funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), which targets the liberated areas in the governorate to reduce the risks threatening civilian lives by removing the landmines and explosive devices planted by the terrorist Houthi militias, which pose a direct threat to the local population, and by implementing community awareness campaigns to educate residents on how to deal with war remnants.

He emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and accelerating the implementation of the project to ensure the safety of citizens and the return to normal life in the targeted areas.
