Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed Monday with the Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Al-Sharif bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them.
The two ministers discussed latest political developments in the region, especially regarding Yemen and Sudan, and issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of his participation in the preparatory meetings for the emergency Arab summit in Cairo, Minister Zindani emphasized the significance and strength of the distinguished brotherly relations that bind the two countries and their peoples.
He praised Sudan’s leadership, government and people for their positions towards Yemen in various stages and circumstances.
For his part, the Sudanese Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's steadfast support for the Presidential Leadership Council, the Yemeni government and the Yemeni people, highlighting the strong brotherly relations between the two countries.
