Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi received today, Sunday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Yemen, Qais Saad Al-Ameri.
Ambassador Al-Ameri conveyed to the chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council the greetings of his brother, His Excellency President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and his wishes for him and the members of the Council to be in good health and wellness, and for the Yemeni people stability and peace.
In turn, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council asked Ambassador Al-Ameri to convey his greetings to the Iraqi leadership and his congratulations to them on the occasion of the holy month.
The talks touched on the developments in the two countries, bilateral relations and prospects for promoting and developing them at all levels, and ways to coordinate positions regarding regional developments of common interest.
