Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaye Zindani held talks with the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Yemen Qais Al-Ameri today over the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, in addition to coordinating political positions towards regional issues of common interest.
Dr. Zindani praised the depth of the historical relations between Yemen and Iraq.
He emphasized the aspiration to enhance joint cooperation and expand areas of coordination between the two countries.
Zindani emphasized the keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to support all peace initiatives aimed at ending the Houthi coup, and achieving a just and sustainable peace that puts an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people and ends the war sparked by the terrorist Houthi militia.
