MARIB - SABA
Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd Rabbuh Miftah and Deputy Minister of Information Ahmed Rabie today launched the Humanitarian Media Center (HMC) in Marib.
During the ceremony, Deputy Governor Miftah and Deputy Minister Rabie stressed the importance of establishing this center and its expected role in conveying the true image of the humanitarian reality away from exaggeration and trivialization, and to be a beacon for humanitarian media and a voice for those in need in the world and an advocate for their issues and needs.
The two deputies, Miftah and Rabie, pointed out that Marib Governorate, which received more than 62 percent of the displaced people in Yemen, and presented a model of social cohesion, compassion and humanitarian work, faces major challenges after 11 years of absurd war waged by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Yemeni people and the destruction of all the Yemeni people's capabilities, and created and deepened the worst humanitarian crisis known to the world.
