Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani received Sunday a copy of the credentials of Ambassador Carlo Baldocchi, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Republic of Yemen.
Minister Zindani welcomed the Italian ambassador, expressing his wishes for success in his duties and affirming the ministry's readiness to provide all necessary facilitations and support to ensure the success of his mission.
The Foreign Minister reiterated the Yemeni government's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and developing cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
For his part, the Italian diplomat expressed his pride in representing his country in the Republic of Yemen, confirming the depth of historical relations between the two countries and his readiness to work on strengthening cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields.
