President al-Alimi updated the European Ambassadors on the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena and the needed European interventions to support the Yemeni economy and alleviate the humanitarian suffering which seriously exacerbated by the Houthi terrorist attacks on the oil facilities and international shipping lanes.
The conversations touched on the American administration's decision about re-designation the Houthi militias a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and the importance of joining the international community's countries such punitive measures as a peaceful option to drain the militias' financing and arming sources and enforcing the UNSCRs in relevance, namely the resolution 2216.
The President reassured the humanitarian work community that all coordinated measures will be taken in cooperation with the international community to direct the terrorist designation requirements to its main targeted goals without harming the vulnerable social groups and the live-saving imported commodities .
The Chairman of the PLC called for learning the lessons from previous disappointing experiments in dealing with the Houthi militias, never count on the militias' misleading endeavors about their terrorist doctrine that has proved destabilizing security of Yemen and international security and peace.
