WASHINGTON - SABA
Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak received a phone call from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss cooperation and coordination between the governments of the two countries to deal with the attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia and their threat to the security and stability of Yemen, the region and international interests in the Red Sea, in the aftermath of the US administration's designation of the militia as a foreign terrorist organization FTO.
Talks went over the campaign of arrests launched by the militia against workers in international organizations, diplomatic missions and civil society organizations, and condemned these criminal practices that express the terrorist and extremist nature of the militia.
The US Secretary of State reaffirmed his country's support for the Yemeni government to confront the security and military challenges posed by the terrorist militia.
