The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) hosted Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak in Washington today where a closed session was held to discuss developments in Yemen and the government's perspective in dealing with national, regional and international developments.
The leadership and team of USIP stressed the importance of the Yemeni premier's current visit to Washington after the success achieved by the international ministerial meeting to mobilize support for the Yemeni government.
Bin Mubarak set the scene of the entire situation in Yemen from political, economic, service and military aspects, demonstrated the challenges facing the government and the government's perspective to deal with those challenges.
