The Republic of Yemen participated today, Sunday, in the ministerial meeting of ministers of agriculture and food in the world.
Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem al-Soqatri contributed to the deliberations of the 17th World Forum for Food and Agriculture held in the German capital, Berlin.
Al-Soqatri highlighted Yemen's need for more international cooperation to support the government's efforts to increase food production and to boost the sustainable agricultural system so that it can survive the future shocks.
The Minister also engaged in the third secondary session about promoting innovation –encouraging communication.
