Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani took part in the Conference of Ministers for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World in the Moroccan capital today.
The conference discussed ways to promote joint Arab action, and addressed several issues, especially cultural and creative industries, the challenges of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The conference presentd the broad outlines of the progressive plan to develop cultural industries in Arab countries, presenting the conclusions of the work of the Permanent Committee for Arab Culture and adopting the recommendations issued.
Minister al-Eryani called on his Arab counterparts and on the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization and similar organizations to enhance coordination for protecting and preserving the Yemeni cultural heritage.
He recalled what Yemen has underwent during the past ten years at the hands of Houthi terrorist gang who arrogantly treated the great Yemeni people, their history and civilization and refused to be anything but a submissive proxy under the thumb of the Iranian regime to kill and destroy.
