The quarter-finals will witness a number of strong and exciting confrontations, as the competition continues to win the title of the first edition of the tournament.

The draw placed the Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds, the leader of Group Three in the group stage, in a strong confrontation against Wuhan Jiangda of China, the third-placed team in Group One.
