Presidential Leadership Council pronounces a plan to normalize the situations in Hadramout governorate

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) announced today, Tuesday, a plan intended to normalize the situations in the governorate of Hadramout and to respond to the legitimate demands of the governorate's people, political constituencies and societal constituents, and to boost Hadramout 's balancing position in the national equity and its active contribution to the decision making at local and national level.

The PLC issued a statement in which it stated that it has approved a package of executive measures aimed to normalize the situations in the governorate including:

-​Allocating the revenues of selling the crude oil held in the storages of al-Dhaba and al-Massella to establish two new electricity stations in the coast and valley of Hadramout.

-​Sustaining and backing the efforts aiming to unify and mobilize all fellow citizens of Hadramout and their constituencies, bolstering their fair partnership in the state's structures and any coming political entitlements in line with the position of Hadramout and its entitlements at different levels.

-​Engaging the fellow citizens of Hadramout in the armed and security forces in accordance with the law and approved conscripting standards.

-​Establishing a General Hospital in al-Hadhaba area (Ghail Bin Youmain) by using the returns of the cost of the diesel which stored in the storages of Petromassella Company.

-​Devoting all local and central revenues to develop and build the governorate in accordance with a joint developmental plan with the government and regional and international donors community.

These measures requiring that the local authority and all Hadrami constituencies ought to welcome the agreed on decisions and put an end of the protests features, as preliminary steps to carry out comprehensive reforms that can bring Hadramout back to its natural position as the leading train for the development and peace.

The PLC urged the fellow citizens of Hadramout governorate and its political and societal constituencies to keep their governorate away from any tensions and disputes, maintain its stability and security, devote all efforts to develop it and boost its historical position as an
