The leadership of the Shura Council convened a consultative meeting today, Monday, presided over by the Speaker of the Council Dr. Ahmed bin Dagher aimed to discuss the directives of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) about the importance of reinvigorating the role of the Shura Council and the other institutions of the state.
The deliberations also covered the latest national, regional and international developments.
The Shura Council headship underscored the importance of activating the role of the monitoring authorities and refreshing their actions, mainly the Anti-Corruption High National Commission and the High Committee for Monitoring over Tenders and Offers.
The Council headship also discussed the necessary steps to initiate the candidacy for the membership of the Anti-Corruption National Commission.
