The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen took part in the 44th session of the Arab Council of Ministers of Social Affairs in the Bahraini capital today.
Yemen's delegation was led by Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Dr. Mohamed al-Zouri.
The two-day event will explore several mattes of priority for joint Arab development social work with special focusing on issues regarding multidimensional poverty, social policies, people with disabilities, the elderly, family and childhood.
