Parliament Speaker reviews work progress at Khalifa Hospital, Taiz University branch in Turbah

Parliament Speaker Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani reviewed work progress at Khalifa General Hospital in Turbah city and the health and treatment services provided to citizens in various departments.

Al-Barakani listened to an explanation from the hospital's General Director, Dr. Mazen Al-Zubairi, and specialists about the services the hospital offers to patients, the new departments that have been opened, and the necessary needs in terms of qualified and specialized staff, technical and technological equipment, and the challenges the hospital faces.

He praised the medical staff and the services provided by the hospital in various specialized departments, as well as the efforts made by all its employees.

After that, the Parliament Speaker, accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in al-Shamayatayn District, Saeed al-Ra'i visited Taiz University branch (Turbah).

Al-Barakani learned from the Deputy President of the university Dr. Ahmed al-Rabasi, and the deans of the colleges and centers, as well as several faculty members, about the progress of the educational process at the university, the issues facing education, and the essential needs that could enhance performance, develop, and expand the educational process and its impact on the quality of outputs.

Al-Barakani conducted an inspection tour of the university's colleges, facilities, and classrooms, praising the efforts made to facilitate the educational process despite the difficult circumstances and limited resources.

He urged the deans of the colleges to prepare comprehensive studies that include their needs and vision for development and modernization.
