The Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office in Hadhramaut Ambassador Salem Balfakih discussed Monday with the non-resident Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen Muhammad Johan enhancing and developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as the situation of the Indonesian community in the governorate.
Balfakih highlighted the deep historical ties that connect the two countries, affirming the provision of all necessary facilities for Indonesian students studying in institutes, schools, and universities in Hadhramaut.
He emphasized that the Foreign Ministry Office would spare no effort in providing consular services to Indonesian students, whether newly sent or those who have completed their studies in educational institutions in the governorate.
For his part, the Indonesian ambassador praised the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office in facilitating consular transactions for Indonesian citizens residing in Yemen and assisting them in overcoming the challenges they face during their studies.
He stressed the importance of enhancing and developing commercial activity between the two countries by opening communication channels between the private sectors of both nations.
