Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Maj. Gen. Aidaroos al-Zubaidi held talks with the Chargé d'affaires of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Yemen Evgeny A.Kudrov here today.

They reviewed the latest developments related to international and regional efforts meant to bring the war to a halt and establish peace in Yemen. Al-Zubaidi confirmed that the efforts of the UN and the regional and international communities won't lead to peace while Houthi terrorism with Iranian support continues against innocent people in areas under the terrorist Houthi militia's control and while unjustified attacks on commercial vessels continue in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden.Talks also went over the latest humanitarian developments in Yemen and means of promoting regional and international efforts to support the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in confronting the worsening economic crisis and mitigating its impact on people's lives.
