Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi held talks with a German Foreign Ministry official, Eckhart Pruss over enhancing bilateral cooperation in the water and environment fields.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Climate Conference (COP29) in the Azerbaijani capital discussed views on the agenda and priorities of the two friendly countries at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and ways to enhance cooperation in environmental issues, sustainable development and climate action., and confront environmental threats in the Red Sea.
