Hajjah Governor discusses with Kuwaiti Foundation possibility of implementing housing project for orphans in Hiran

Governor of Hajjah Major General AbdulKarim al-Sunaini discussed with the Director General of the Kuwaiti Yanabee' Al-Khair Foundation Tawfiq Al-Ba'abai the possibility of resuming work on a project to build 50 housing units for orphans and displaced persons in Hiran District, Hajjah.

The project had been hindered due to attacks by Houthi terrorist militias coinciding with its initiation.

The meeting reviewed the overall humanitarian efforts and interventions of the foundation in the liberated areas of the governorate, emphasizing the need to enhance coordination and partnership between the local authority and the foundation to secure more assistance for the displaced and those affected by floods.

During the meeting, the governor praised the interventions of Kuwaiti relief organizations and their tangible humanitarian impact across various service sectors.

He welcomed the resumption of the foundation's work in the liberated areas of the governorate and stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the housing project aimed at assisting dozens of needy families, including orphans and the displaced.

For his part, the Director of -Yanabee' Al-Khair Foundation affirmed the foundation's readiness to continue its humanitarian tasks in the governorate and to work in a spirit of teamwork with the local authority and partners to meet urgent needs and alleviate the suffering of the displaced persons.
