Hadramout Governor discusses with UNDP,WFP joint coordination

Governor of Hadramout governorate Mabkhot bin Madhi met separately today, Sunday, with a delegation from the UNDP and the Country Director of the World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen.

Mabkhot's conversations with the UNDP delegation headed by headed by Waleed Abdel Shafi focused on the ongoing cooperation, sustainable developments efforts to serve local communities and the capacity building coordinated mechanisms to improve institutional efficiencies in the governmental actions in order to boost sustainable development efforts.

Meanwhile, the governor's discussions with the WFP's official covered the humanitarian interventions by WFP to improve the livelihood programs and the Response Program to Reinforce Food Security in Yemen (FSRRP), which carried out by the UNDP and the UN Organization of Food and Agriculture , the WFP, funded by the International Foundation for Development of the World Bank.
