A report by the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms documented 4896 violations and crimes committed by the Houthi militia against religious activists and places of worship in Yemen from January 1, 2015, to June 30, 2025. Yemen took part in the eighth meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization held in the Qatari capital today.
Yemen's delegation is led by the country's Minister of Industry and Trade, member of the Ministerial Committee for Standardization Mohammed al-Ashwal.
Deliberations discussed the report of the Standardization Organization on the progress of work during the period April - September 2024, the memorandum of the organization's presidency regarding the adoption of Gulf technical regulations and their amendments, the costs of services for authenticating Gulf conformity certificates, as well as reviewing the status of the Gulf Accreditation Center.Ten new Gulf technical regulations were approved and 6 others were withdrawn.
