Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak presided over a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Clampdown on Smuggling here today to evaluate the Committee's performance including in tracking down on money smugglers and criminal networks trying to harm the national economy.
Discussions addressed the integration of the efforts of the military, security, judicial and other competent governmental agencies to reduce smuggling; and the implementation of the Cabinet's decisions regarding enhanced surveillance and clampdown efforts to prevent smuggling via the country's sea and land ports of entry.
