Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan met today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with some of the EU's member states Ambassadors.
The Head of the EU delegation in Yemen Gaberiel Vinals led the discussions during the meeting that included Ambassadors of Germany, France, the Netherlands, Greece and Romania to the Republic of Yemen.
Shaman detailed the European Ambassadors on the economic hardships the fellow citizens in Taiz governorate have been enduring due to the long-standing besiege imposed by the Houthi militias on the governorate.
He noted that the Houthi militias have only opened on major road recently, while the other main roads have continued to be closed. As a result, the economic hardships have been worsen in the governorate.
