Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem al-Soqatri along with other local officials in the temporary capital Aden laid foundation stone for constructing a fish export center and fencing a fish investment complex.
The project which hopes to enhance institutional and economic resilience in Yemen costs $1,500,000 with EU funding.
The project comprises a number of sections including an administration, a statistics offices, a marketing department, a central laboratory for examining fish samples, in addition to ice factories and refrigerators, and fish processing and storage and preservation facilities.
