Undersecretary of Planning Ministry Mansoor Zaid discussed with representatives of the UN organizations on Thursday humanitarian situation in al-Musaimir District in Lahj.

The meeting reviewed evaluation of the field team to humanitarian cases at al-Musaimir District and needed steps to coordinate joint efforts to make emergency interventions to alleviate suffering of families in need in the district.

The Undersecretary praised response of the UN team, who made the field visit to the district to study closely humanitarian cases of the families and suffering of the district over Houthi terrorist militia's escalation in nearby areas.

He confirmed importance of swift intervention and emergency response to displaced families and the hosting community to provide more emergency support to these areas.
