Yemen's foreign minister Dr. Shaya Zindani chaired today the annual consultative meeting of Arab League foreign ministers held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York.
Yemen's foreign minister noted that the meeting comes two weeks after the 162th regular session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level in Cairo, which session focused on supporting the Palestinian cause and confronting the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and that the session produced a set of resolutions related to Palestine, and assigned for an Arab panel to follow up on these issues with the UN Security Council and the UNGA.
