Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindani discussed today, Thursday, with non-resident Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Mark Donovan bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
The conversations also touched upon the humanitarian situation in Yemen and what Australia can contribute to the humanitarian actions.
Dr. al-Zindani stated that Yemen is keenly seeking to further promote relations and cooperation with Australia, mainly in the area of economy.
The Australian Ambassador confirmed his country's support for Yemen, its government and the ongoing efforts to make peace, establish security and stability in Yemen.
He also noted that his government is intent to provide further humanitarian and relief support for the Yemeni people.
