Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi conducted a telephone call with the Governor of Hadhramout Mabkhout bin Madhi inspecting the situation in the governorate at various levels.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council listened from the Governor of Hadhramout to a new briefing on the level of progress in the implementation of service projects and the announced plans to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially in the sectors of energy, education, and water, as well as strengthening the capabilities of local authorities in responding to the recurring climatic changes.

President al-Alimi praised efforts of the local authority, the political components, the social figures, the members of the Parliament and the Shura Council, the scholars, the youth sector, the women and the members of the armed forces and security for the unity of the ranks and focusing on the development of Hadhramout, and enhancing the presence of its people in local and central decision-making.

The President emphasized keenness of the state's leadership to support the efforts of the local authority in order to fulfill the service demands of the people of Hadhramout and their political and societal components.

He confirmed that these demands come within a broader plan to respond to the aspirations of the people of the liberated governorates and empower them to manage their local affairs and improve their access to basic services and decent livelihoods that were crushed by the war of the Houthi terrorist militias supported by the Iranian regime.
