Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Haidan said, "The heinous terror operation that claimed the lives of 16 individuals and injured a number others from the Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade in Mudiyah, Abyan Governorate, will only reinforce the cohesion and resolve of the security services heroes and their brothers in the armed forces to combat terror" organizations regardless of their names, the Houthis, Al-Qaeda, ISIS and their rogue members.

Minister Haidan said in press remarks quoted by the security media that "The terrorist operation bears the hallmarks of the terrorist Houthi militia and indicate their collaboration with the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization."

He said the operation "will only reinforce the cohesion and resolve of our armed forces and security services of all formations to combat terrorism." The Minister emphasized the importance of the Yemeni society's cohesion in the face of terrorism, which is being exported by Iran, the sponsor of evil in the region.
