Four IDP died, ten hurt, 7 thousand shelters damaged in Marib by rainfalls

Four Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) died and ten others sustained injuries due to the torrential rains that Marib governorate was subjected to today, Monday.

As many as 7179 thousands of the IDP families badly affected by the heavy rainfalls, floods and strong winds, according to primary statistics.

The Executive Unit of the IDP Camps Management (EUIDPCM) reported that 2973 shelters were completely ruined and 4206 partially damaged by the heavy floods, which swept away a number of the IDPs camps in the governorate.

The EUIDPCM appealed to the international, regional and national relief organizations to move to relieve the affected people who are in dire need for relief stuff including food anf shelters
