The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has said it expects rains to continue to fall accompanied by thunderstorms in Yemen's highlands, western coasts and inland plateaus during the coming days.
The center said in a statement that the heavy rains that have affected most Yemen's regions were caused by the deepening of seasonal Indian depression and eastern jet stream in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
